## Game Overview

NightSpawn throws players and their squads into shifting nightmare environments filled with puzzles, locked rooms, and myth-inspired creatures. 

Whether you're solving escape-room challenges with friends or hunting each other down in asymmetric matches, every session keeps you guessing. Procedural maps, multiple game modes, and Tarot Card modifiers make sure no two runs feel the same. It's built for players who like tension, teamwork, and a good scare with a purpose.

Designed for co-op sessions, competitive team modes, and asymmetric hunts, the game drops players into large, unpredictable maps where logic, timing, and teamwork all play a role in making it out alive.

### Gameplay and Features

NightSpawn focuses on co-op puzzle-solving and survival horror. Each match drops players into a procedurally generated environment where players will need to find clues, unlock hidden paths, and work together to escape.&#x20;

Puzzles are central to the experience, often requiring teamwork and quick thinking, especially with a relentless monster on the hunt. The locations shift every session, from abandoned subways to creepy carnivals, making sure no two runs feel the same.

Players can try their luck solo or with a team of 4 in different modes, including standard co-op escape scenarios, a 2v2vAI puzzle race, and a 4v1 mode where one player becomes the monster. Each map is procedurally generated and filled with challenges like locked rooms, environmental hazards, and a hostile creature tracking every move.

Players can customize their characters and adjust loadouts between matches. A Tarot Card system lets players change the conditions of each round, adding challenges like limited visibility or rare rewards for optional objectives. It’s a mix of strategy, communication, and pressure that makes every match feel fresh while keeping the focus on survival and problem-solving.

### **Game Modes**

* 4-Player Co-op Escape: Team up with three other players to complete puzzles and escape while being hunted by an AI monster. Communication and task management are key.
* 2v2vAI Puzzle Race: Two teams compete to solve puzzles in mirrored environments. The first team to finish gets the win, but both groups still have to deal with the roaming AI.
* 4v1 Hunter Mode: One player takes control of the monster. The others try to escape. It's a more competitive mode focused on stealth and timing.
